The Campus of Sir Mohamed Yusuf Seamen Welfare Foundation is located at the head of the navigational channel of Bombay Harbour, on the mainland at Nhava. It consists of a beautiful 22 acres self-contained campus with a sea front on the north west of Nhava and adjacent to the latest hitech Jawaharlal Nehru Port on the south. The campus is served by boat from Ferry Wharf and by land via New Bombay. It will soon also be linked by the proposed Sewree - Nhava Bridge, the extension of the internal rail network from New Bombay, and the proposed Regional Airport at Kopar.

 
  Getting there.............
A) By Air :
  • To Sahar International Airport or Santa Cruz Domestic Airport, from where various travel options as mentioned below are available to Nhava.
B)   By Sea :
  • By Contract boat from Ferry Wharf.
  • By Hovercraft from Gateway of India to Belapur Hoverport,and from there by bus or auto to Nhava.
  • By ferry boat from Ferry Wharf to Mora pier, Uran, and from there by bus or auto to Nhava via Jasai and Gavan villages.
C) By Train :
  • By Harbour line via Mankhurd to Belapur station and from there by bus or auto to Nhava.
  • Main line to Panvel station and from there by bus or auto to Nhava.
D) By Road :
  • From Mumbai - Cross Thane Creek bridge, turn left underpass to Belapur, Nerul, Sanpada, and Dronagiri onto Palm Beach Marg, turn right at the end, cross over Belapur Creek bridge and continue along pipe road to MSWSW Water Reservoir, then turn right, down village road to Khar Koper village (Shivaji statue), and right again to Nhava.
  • From Panvel - drive towards Uran, turn right at MSWSW Water Reservoir, down village road to Khar Koper village (Shivaji bust), and right to Nhava.
